How it works

1. Booking form

Complete the booking form.

The details you provide will allow us to pass on your details to the Cat Companion who is closest to your area and/or available during the times you have specified.

2. Meet and greet

Your Cat Companion will contact you to arrange a FREE initial consultation which will enable you to meet your companion and your companion to meet your cat and more importantly for your cat to meet us. You need to be entirely happy and comfortable with the relationship we have with your cat before deciding to go ahead.

3. Cat sitting visits

Each cat sitting visit lasts half an hour in which time we give your cat the loving attention it needs. Your cat will be fed, played with, cuddled, their litter tray cleaned and any medication required administered, at no extra charge. We can also bring in your mail, water plants, take bins out, close curtains, whatever it is you may need.

You will have a direct mobile number to contact your companion during your time away and your companion will send you updates after each visit.

4. Feedback

We are always improving. Your feedback is welcome.

Claire runs the business with the utmost professionalism and care, with her veterinary background also providing us with additional comfort that Lola is well cared for while we are away. We receive regular updates and photos when away for more than a weekend, and always return to clean bowls and litter trays with an update on how she has been.  

One of our favourite sitters is Kylie who is extremely caring and takes the extra time to comfort Lola while we are away. When we initially met Kylie I could tell our cat was comfortable in her company, which is a rarity for strangers.

Claire is extremely passionate about animals and their welfare, which shines through when she cares for our cat Lola. Claire takes the time to understand their routine, likes/dislikes in detail and to the greatest extent possible ensures her routine is maintained while we are away.

We receive photos and updates on a daily basis and Lola is always calm and happy upon our return. I have no doubt that Claire also takes the time to talk and play with Lola while we are away in addition to taking care of the necessities of feeding and cleaning kitty litter etc.

Claire is a beautiful, caring individual and we are very comfortable having her look after Lola and our property while we are away.
